Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I pick up someone else's race packet or can someone else pick up my race packet?

A: Yes, however the person picking up other participants packets assumes all responsibility for lost packets and timing chips.

Q: What is this on the back of my bib? Is that my timing chip?

A: Yes, that is your timing chip! Please don't remove it or bend it in any way. Also, please be sure to wear your bib on the front of your body on race day where it is clearly visible. Don't forget your bib on race day!

Q: Can I wear my I-Pod or other music playing device?

A: Yes, although we recommend that you keep the volume at a level that will allow you to hear other runners, race officials, traffic, etc.

Q: If I can no longer race due to injury or another matter or the weather is bad, can I receive a refund?

A:  Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds for any reason.  We are unable to make exceptions to this, as we strive to treat all athletes equally. The only exception to this is in the event of a duplicate online entry or accidental double charge, a refund check will be issued. Refund checks require 2-4 weeks to be processed.

Q: Can I participate in the Kids 50 Yard Dash with my child?

A: Yes, you may participate with your child in the Kids Dash if they are too young to run without your help.

Q: Can I use a stroller on the trail for the 5K walk?

A: Yes, we are a family friendly event!

Q: Will there be awards?

A: Yes, there will be awards offered for the top 3 male overall and top 3 female overall finishers. An awards presentation will be given later that morning of the 5K to present the awards to the finalist.
